Patricia Angole-Wynn

Dr. Patricia Angole-Wynn grew up on the island of Grand Bahama in The Bahamas. Her family originates from the country of Uganda in Eastern Africa and she is the last of 7 kids. She was raised understanding the importance of hard work, perseverance and respect and empathy for others. These are the core values that she brings as the owner of Wynn Dental Wellness. Growing up with a physician as a father in the local hospital in The Bahamas, Dr. Angole-Wynn was always impressed by the impact his medical care had on his patients. She loved the idea of having a career that could improve a patient's well-being and create long lasting relationships.

As a result of her fascination in science and biology, Dr. Angole-Wynn went on to major in Biology in College. She attended college in Colorado at Metropolitan State University of Denver and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Chemistry minor. While in college she volunteered at a homeless shelter that happened to have a free dental clinic. As she shadowed the dentist at this clinic, she saw how an improved smile could build self esteem and how pain could be relieved in one appointment. This experience at the homeless shelter ignited her passion for the field of dentistry. Dr. Angole-Wynn loved the idea of having a job that combined science and artistry in a way that could improve a person’s confidence and self-worth.

After graduating from college, she was accepted to Howard University College of Dentistry where her journey began to turning her passion into a lifelong career. Since 2014, Dr. Angole-Wynn has served as a dentist in the DMV area. She married her amazing husband, Jonathan, in 2017 and they have made Maryland their home. Outside of the dental office, you can find Dr. Angole-Wynn traveling, volunteering and spending time with her husband and family.
